Franciscan Fraternity of Hope

The Fraternity

A Fraternity of Hope

The Franciscan Fraternity of Hope is a simple fraternity, born from the desire to live the Gospel with depth and joy. We did not arise as a response to tensions or debates, but as a humble seed the Spirit caused to grow in order to renew fraternal life, prayer, and hope in the midst of the world. Our path is inspired by the figure of Saint Francis of Assisi, whose life invites us to simplicity, closeness, and trust in God.

We understand ourselves as a small work of fraternity, open to those who seek a space of peace, silence, and encounter. We do not aim to occupy a place or define ourselves through structures, but to offer a way of living the Gospel that flows from prayer, shared life, and humble service.

Our mission springs from the conviction that hope can transform daily life and that fraternity is a path where the heart learns to love, to reconcile, and to grow. We wish to be a simple sign of that hope, accompanying those who seek light, consolation, or a space where their faith can mature with serenity.

A Fraternity in Communion

The Franciscan Fraternity of Hope desires to live its vocation in communion with all who follow Jesus Christ and seek to walk according to the Gospel. Our consecration is born from listening, prayer, and the desire to live authentically the spirit of Saint Francis of Assisi, who invites us to simplicity, fraternity, and trust in God.

Our fidelity is not theoretical but concrete: it is expressed in a life of prayer, in welcoming the Word, in shared fraternity, and in the commitment to live the Gospel with humility and truth. We aspire to a broad, open, and serene communion, defined not by structures but by the love that unites all who seek Christ with a sincere heart.

A Structured Fraternity

Our fraternity is organized according to its own Constitutions and Statutes, born from prayer and communal discernment. These texts offer a simple and evangelical framework to care for fraternal life, foster coexistence, and guide our spiritual journey. They are not a rigid structure, but a humble help to live the spirit of the Gospel and the inspiration of Saint Francis of Assisi with greater fidelity.

Common life is the heart of our identity: a space where we share prayer, silence, simple work, and daily fraternity. In our houses we seek to create an atmosphere of peace and welcome, where each brother can grow, be reconciled, and learn to live as a lesser brother. For us, fraternity is a school of conversion and a home where hope becomes life.

An Apostolic Fraternity

Our fraternity has a deeply service-oriented vocation. From prayer and shared life, we dedicate ourselves to various forms of accompaniment: attentive listening, spiritual support, gestures of charity, care for creation, contemplative presence, and closeness to those who experience moments of fragility.

We do not seek large projects or prominence, but small gestures that sow hope where life needs it most. Our desire is that every person who approaches the fraternity may find consolation, welcome, and a simple reflection of God’s mercy.

Our ambition is humble: to contribute, from our smallness, to the renewal of the human heart and to the building of a more fraternal world, allowing the hope of the Gospel to inspire every step.

A Fraternity Sustained by Grace

We know that our path is only possible through the grace of God. For this reason, we entrust our fraternity to Jesus Christ, source of hope and peace, and we place ourselves under the intercession of Mary, model of listening and humble surrender. She teaches us to live with a heart that is available, simple, and full of trust, as Francis did, who saw in everything a reflection of divine love.
